Shuffle some art with your tunes

Happy New Year! I can’t believe its 2007!

I half debated getting all weepy and nostalgic on you, but I’ll reserve that for another post.

For now, the first post in 07′ is dedicated to that little device that keeps me in shape. My beloved iPod. No, this is not a plug for apple. In fact, before I had an iPod I had a little RCA number that I loved (but the software wouldn’t work with my Mac) and before that had something called a Diamond Rio which I also loved (and lost). I just like the portability of MP3 players in general. Way back in the day (in like 1999) I had one of those super Sony CD players. You know the yellow one with the arm band and shock proof covering? It was a huge pain to run with. On the plus side, I happened to roll over it with a Brutus AR-1 Power Roller once and it still worked… but I probably shouldn’t share that story with people I don’t know.

Anyway, Shufflesome is a site that allows you to choose from a great selection of pre-designed iPod sticker outfits (see above) for under $10. Say goodbye to that bland white shuffle surface and enjoy designs from up-and-coming and already established artists. The site even allows you to design your own cover (they supply the template, you supply the art) for around $15. A great way to express yourself without breaking the bank!
