A certain someone was sick of me stealing their umbrella. Its not like it was particularly special or anything… it was just super big and much nicer than the ones I end up buying on the fly from CVS in the middle a storm. When the rugged blue and white was finally reclaimed — I was lost. Like a series of bad relationships, I went from umbrella to umbrella… the short compact one, the sexy sleek model and even the quirky (duck handle) model. Each one lasted but a storm or two before it was found to be too small, too cumbersome, misplaced or worse yet, broken. I wondered, “isn’t there an umbrella out there for me?” That’s where pare* came in…

pare * umbrella is located in rainy Seattle. The story goes that every year when the rainy season came around, pare* designers were saddened by the onset of the gray skies, soggy wet outdoor jackets and dull umbrellas. With all that drizzle and dreariness, pare* designers decided to create something to cheer you up… to bring fun and excitement to every rainy season. Their selection of umbrellas is divine.
