The Adventures of an Urban Socialite

Bringing You The Truth In The Form Of Fashion

Don’t get Stung

First let me start by saying I’m not the biggest fan of Cosmo magazine. Its just so… tacky. “101 ways to please your man” or “how to make your sex life even yummier” or whatever. In actuality, I think that magazine stands for everything that’s wrong with women’s magazines today.

I say all of this because the site I’m sending you to is actually an off-shoot of Cosmo girl. Its a free on-line web magazine called jellyfish, and though the content is quite young, the concept is great. Its a fully interactive magazine bringing you “the best of the web every week.” Each page is full of options… see a shirt you like? Click on the link and it will bring you to the shopping site. You can e-mail sections to friends, watch videos and even check out the “hottest men on myspace” if you’re in to that kinda thing. (I’m still not in to the whole myspace thing… its just so confusing and loud… plus, all of layouts I’ve seen have been so ugly!)

Jellyfish is worth checking out, if not for the content, for its ingenious layout and unique interactive presentation. Sign up for a free subscription here.
