kiss kiss

When I was in high school I had a crush on a certain upper classman who happened to have his locker outside of my English room. I used to sit in class and doodle pictures of lips and hearts while my teacher went on and on about the Scarlet Letter. For this, and many other reasons, I was a pretty tragic 9th grader. One day I was walking out of class with my notebook open. I ran into him and started up some random conversation and he noticed the drawings. I was somewhat mortified (don’t worry, his name wasn’t written in hearts or anything) until he examined the drawings and said, “wow, you’re a good artist.” Of course I took this to mean we were going to live happily ever after. I wrong, but at least we had a new topic of conversation (my favorite subject at the time, me!)

Anyway, the point of this story is, I drew the lips because I had the crush and the crush saw the lips I drew and it paved the way for a series of new conversations. Imagine the conversations that will happen when you wear Jules Smith Design’s kiss kiss necklace!
