Da Hotness

I was most definitely right about this week. How can I be this exhausted on a Tuesday? Sometimes I think its the monotony of the whole thing: waking up, drinking coffee, putting on another work-appropriate-suit, toiling with various issues and doing it all over again the next day. Not that I don’t love the individual issues and aspects of what I do, but sometimes I feel like I’m in that movie “Groundhog Day,” (which is one of the worst movies ever, but I’m sure you get the point).

Anyway, probably the worst part of the cycle is the suit thing. There are only so many ways you can work a matching jacket and pants. That’s why the weekend and brands like Dahveese are so much fun! (Of course I can only wear brands like Dahveese on the weekend… anyway…)

Designer Darnell “Jewell” Davis starting designing in 1995 with hand stitched t-shirts to support his struggling music career. After creating a hand-sewn 72 piece t-shirt collection for a local store in Delaware, Mr. Davis turned all his creative energies to fashion. His collection sold out in two weeks!
