Another nor’easter? How annoying. At least some of my favorite designers have their Spring/Summer 2008 line ready to go. Take for instance, Yu Clothing. The line was created by designer Sarah Yu and it highlights the expressive culture of New York City. Her clothes are fun, sophisticated and sexy. “Utilizing her education from FIT in New York, Polimoda (Florence, Italy) and her experience working for several well-known clothing lines, she developed her unique vision of femininity. Her clothes are typically draped using a high quality jersey that moves with the body, providing a garment that is imbued with a luxurious feel and a perfect fit.” This “Born in Brooklyn” label reminds me of a spring afternoon in Park Slope…. Especially her adorable spring/summer collection which is full of delicate floral patterns (you better get used to florals, they’re going to be big this spring).
Off to buy a sled. Later.
