Sowing the S.E.A.D.S of Style*

*Yeah, that’s a not so subtle reference to Tears for Fears and their creepy music video. I’m totally going to have that song stuck in my head all day.
Anyway, before I leave I wanted to let you know about the Sustainable Collective. Why? Because I love clothes with a concept that stretches beyond, “I paid hundreds of dollars for this shirt.” The Sustainable Collective is a collective vision of eco and social change. Their goal? Planting seeds to create something bigger for all. They call their mission S.E.A.D.S which stands for: Sustainable (their fabrics, dyes, labels and packaging are organic, recycled and thoughtfully pursued), Ethical (all labor is fairly-paid in the US and they’re a member of the 1% for the Planet), Authentic (they research their products, request proper certifications and run their car on Biodiesel fuel), Directional (always green and always fashion-forward) and Social (partnerships with 1% for the Planet, Global Green, and The Children’s Village in Haiti). Not only that, but they’re clothes are fun, edgy and (amazingly) affordable. I love the Madison dress! Enjoy their online shop which features unique designs for both women and men.
