The Adventures of an Urban Socialite

I blame Erika for my inability to reign in my spending this weekend… I mean, what kind of friend drags me to Natik, literally throws an adorable Blazer in my arms makes me buy it, and then convinces me to snag a cute pair of MJ heels for like a quarter of the price (last seasons style, but this seasons colors, go figure?)…

Ok, I don’t actually blame her. In fact, I had a great time.  I haven’t had a good girlie shopping weekend in a while. She even put up with me as I contemplated a $400 pair Chloe boots (down from $1,500… what a deal, right?) and as I blushed through a couple of blush-worthy texts (see “prescription for a persistent smile“).
Anyway I thought I’d get a post in before the Pats game (Although it sounds like there have already been a couple interceptions and a SF TD, geez!!)

Anyway, as you already know, Dubai  Fashion Week starts today. One of the many great designers showing over the next few days is Asudari by designer Lamia Asudari. You will love her fun collection inspired by the contrast of East and West. With an eclectic mix of fluid lines, intelligent tailoring, and fresh mature prints, her collection is both exciting and wearable. She pays amazing attention to every little detial, creating a look that is decidedly individualistic and effortlessly chic.
