So, I guess Earth Day was actually yesterday, oops! Whatever… like I said a few days ago, Earth Day is every day, and you know I’m committed to writing about designers who feel the same way. One of my favorites is Frei, by designer Annie Novotny. Her clothes are good for the earth and good for the body (I adore the way they drape, fold and accentuate… her designs are absolutely wonderful)! Frei clothing is created and sewn in Chicago (miss you Rob!). All designs are 80% organic, use no agrochemicals and employ low-impact or no-impact dying. Plus, all items are shipped using recycled materials. If a picture is worth a thousand words, I’ll stop here . . . clearly Frei’s gorgeous designs speak for themselves. Enjoy!

i like her design and the way she manipulates her darts on the tops they make the tops look different. i also really like the detailing she does with the fabric around the necklines of tops. they are very creative and again different. those are the kind of tops i would want to wear on a daily bases and plus they are organic!

You know what I love so much about the day that we live in?
The eco-friendly clothes are so cute. If we would have had eco-friendly clothes even 20 years ago, we’d all be walking around in burlap bags- if that. I love how simple yet detailed these designs are. Brilliant!

I love the graments on this blog and for earth day i figure that this will actually help our planet to develop more good things to our precious earth! I love all the garmetns but my 2 favorite ones are the first picture and second i gotta say they are totally my own creative style. im happy that designers are getting use to the organic fibers and fabric.
