Mmm…nothing like drinking yesterday’s coffee today… and by mmmm I mean, ewww…
At the same time, I am still drinking it… too lazy/ tired to brew a fresh pot. Oh yeah, its like that!
Anyway, speaking of yesterday, today’s designer just so happens to be hierapparel(hier= yesterday en français, in case you didn’t know….although the designer is using it in the Greek prefix sense meaning sacred)…
This Chicago based designer specializes in unconventional apparel and accessories. Pieces that are somewhat ornamental and function to alter one’s geometry, to accentuate parts of the body and complement our asymmetry. The pieces are always embellished with some sort of organic material like, shells, minerals and fossils or with one of a kind buttons made by Perishables and various found objects. The clothing is constructed with materials like canvas, wool felt, cotton, bamboo and Lycra knits, leather, hides and burlap.
I think the bags are phenomenal and I as much as I fluctuate back and forth with this whole obi thing, I think her’s are pretty awesome.

i am so glad to see these really creative accessories because that is something i really need to work on is buying nice accessories. i really like the waist belt in the last photo it is really great i mean it makes the girls outfit unique. without the belt the girls outfit would just be very plain and simple but just adding that belt really improves her look a lot. the belt also reminds me of the belt in the fall 2006 max azria runway. they made belts that looked similar but they embellished the wide waist belts with silk thread. i like the hirappaerl look it is very earthy.

I love the style of that belt, it’s like trashy chic but really make the look awesome! This would match most outfit cool and funky with a twist of chic. :D
