*You know who you are…

Anyway, here are some fun typographically-inspired designs to compliment your look. I find a certain comfort in a beautiful font. Yes, I am the person who actually reads that little excerpt at the end of my book… you know, the : “A Note on the Type” or, “About This Font” paragraph?

For instance, did you know that the Janson typeface was thought to have been made famous by the Dutchman Anton Janson (1668-1687) … but was actually the work of Nicholas Kis (1650-1702)? Or, that Garmond No.3 is actually an adaptation of Claude Garamond’s designs? Seriously, the “notes on the fonts” are fascinating. Knopf is really good about including them in their non-fiction books. Enough dorkiness for the day…  enjoy the fashion! How cool is the typeface scarf?!
