Alice Palmer

It just dawned on me this weekend how close 2010 is… yikes!
It’s almost time for that all-important self-reflection that comes with each new year… however, I have to deal with December first!
Before I suggest more gifts, how about some fashion?

I love love love Alice Palmer’s SS2010 collection and these photos by Hugh O’Malley. More about Alice:

Alice Palmer has a background in textiles, graduating from Glasgow School of Art in 2000, and set up a business in 2001. Based in Glasgow, she designed fashion accessories and sold world-wide to shops, galleries and specialist boutiques. With a passion for making garments, she moved to London to study for a Masters at the Royal College of Art (2005-07). Specialising in Knitted Textiles, she was able to concentrate on developing unconventional ways of constructing knit for fashion. The outcome is a strong, unique aesthetic and at the same time, the production methods are friendly to the environment, as they require no fabric waste.

Part of the reason I paused with the whole gift suggestion thing is because I was beginning to feel a bit hypocritical.  I am really bad when it comes to getting gifts for people I really care about.I never feel like what I’m giving is enough. That being the case, who I am I to give you gift suggestions, right? Anyway I’m keep looking and hopefully have something figured out soon :).
