It actually hurts to be up this early. I suffer from that “I do my best thinking in the morning” curse, which I guess is better than the “I don’t think at all curse” . . .
Before I finish my coffee and digest the news of the day I thought I’d share my odd obsession with Virgina Sin’s ceramic paper plates. I freaking love these! Virginia’s awesome collection was inspired by the lack of quality paper plates (whatever that means) and aimed to address the issue of sustainability. She re-interpreted the design using actual paper plates to make the moulds and mixed shards into the clay. Once fired the paper burns off and the plates become as light as the real thing. They are glazed on both sides making them microwave and dishwasher safe.
