I am obsessed with the skirt in the lead image… Maybe I should be be Blair from Gossip Girl for Halloween? I mean… talk about a great excuse to splurge on clothes… plus I could wear everything after Halloween making it a very… uh… sustainable costume choice, if you will.

Benjamin Channing Clyburn and Sonia Yoon met their junior year at New York’s Parsons School of Design. Upon discovering their shared aesthetic, the duo teamed up for their senior thesis project. The collaboration was successful and their project garnered them a nomination for Parson’s prestigious “designer of the year” award, which led to a successful fashion line just two years later.

Bensoni was born in 2007. Known for creating fresh and unexpected designs, the team enjoys finding balance between dichotomies. This makes sense considering the muse: the Bensoni girl both feminine and strong – someone who is both uptown chic but has a downtown edge.
