Between LFW (or #LFW in web-speak), mid-week baseball excursions, trips to hipster-laden Central Square, culinary adventures with a Cheese Monger (jealous right?!), a front row seat to Stella Artois “perfect pour” contest and trips down memory lane, this week is shaping up to be quite an adventure.

The Stella event is super cool. Basically, Stella (the only beer I drink) is coming to Boston for it’s Nationwide Search For the “Perfect Pour.” On Sept 22, Splash Ultra Lounge will hold a live competition in which beer enthusiasts will demonstrate their beer-pouring expertise before a panel of distinguished judges, who will carefully examine each and every phase of the 9-Step Pouring Ritual. On Oct. 7, U.S. finalists from across the country will rendezvous in Washington, D.C. (♥♥ EHS, SAJ!!!) at the National Building Museum to vie for the chance to move on to the global finals in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where the U.S. winner will represent the United States at the 2011 global finals on Oct. 26. At the world finals, participants from more than 28 countries will again demonstrate their beer-pouring expertise before a panel of distinguished judges, who will carefully examine each and every phase of the 9-Step Pouring Ritual.
