Sabine Marcelis / Sunday Randomness

I was so looking forward to a relaxing weekend . . . unfortunately, I spent most of it working. At least today’s work had a Patriots game soundtrack. Anyway, once I was finally done, I thought it’d be nice sit and relax with a glass of wine. But that required leaving my apartment, so I resigned to making cookies (from scratch!) instead. In retrospect, the walk to the wine shop at the end of my street would have required far-less effort . . . but you have to admit there is something very therapeutic about making something, anything, from scratch. Sometimes the process is more fun than the end result. Luckily, that wasn’t the case here: cookie recipe (I made a few modifications).
