Hidden Gems

When I was a kid I was obsessed with crystals. I used to go to the Stone Store in West Falmouth (a true hidden gem… pardon the pun!) and stock up on quartz and amethyst (green), my favorites. Anyway, following in the footsteps of Chanel FW12, Geri of because i’m addicted offers us a quick raw crystal necklace tutorial. I love this earthy look plus, crystals are supposed to have all sorts of healing/ “mystical powers*” . . . you can’t go wrong with that!

* I was going to link to a site that explains all the powers supposedly have, but they’re all so creepy… it’s like, every single site either has a unicorn, unsettling pink cursive writing, a howling wolf, or a weird “mystical person” featured in the header. I’m all set.
