I&#8217;m still not a big logo person (I don&#8217;t get the whole, &#8220;I&#8217;m going to pay $500 for this and provide free advertising for the company&#8221; thing), but there are certain labels I definitley run to every time (Chanel, Naketano, Camilla Skovgaard, Under Armour, etc.). We all have our favorites. Brandages though? Really? Remember when rapper Nelly used to wear a band-aid on his face? And when band-aid&#8217;s tried to fashionable? And of course there are culturally conscious bandages , bacon bandages, pickle bandages and . . . I will just stop there. 		<description><![CDATA[A conversation with a recent acquaintance reminded me of the power of the human mind. Okay, I know that sounds a wee bit dramatic, but the gist of the conversation was the mind&#8217;s unique ability to mold reality with thought. For instance, autumn is usually my least favorite time of the year (for a number of reasons that defeat positive thinking to post). However, this year I have made a concerted effort to embrace the change of season&#8211; to marvel at the leaves falling, to take solace in the warmth of a new sweater, new smiles, and delicious pumpkin ales. This very deliberate and going-against-the-way-I-normally-think way of thinking started back in August (I figured it was best to start early) and I have to say&#8230; drum roll please&#8230; it&#8217;s actually working!! I am having a blast this fall and my determined decision to see my current situation in a new light, has actually made the original light shining on it brighter. Pretty cool!
