I write this website for fun (emphasize on the period at the end of this sentence). When I first started, fashion blogs were sort of an emerging thing… now they’re everywhere and it seems like everyone is trying to capitalize on them. For instance, bloggers have these “personal style blogs” where they basically take pictures of themselves in clothes sent to them by designers (I actually really hate personal style blogs for a number of reasons, which I may or may not get into later)… and then there are the blogs covered in ads, and of course brands/ marketing companies that send you all of this free stuff with the understanding that you will make space on your site for their product, whether you like it or not. I’m over it. I mean, I can’t even begin to tell you some of the crazy stuff people have sent to me: water to enhance your sex drive, a book on how to get revenge on an ex boyfriend, weird clothing items…

That being said, there are some brands and products that I love and don’t mind sharing space with on my site, especially if it helps pay to keep it up and running. Below are some of my absolute favorite brands which I will post about from time to time. I can actually vouch for all of these companies (at least in terms of my overall satisfaction with them) and hope you love them too!

In terms of ad space, I have three spots for ads which I will continue to edit carefully.The most important thing to me is that you have an enjoyable reading experience and discovery a great new designer or two!
