Yesterday’s News cat litter is taking kitty care and couture to a whole other level! With the help of designers  Samantha Pleet, Bahar Shahpar, Lara Miller, and Restore Clothing’s Anthony Lilore, the Cat Litter company sponsored a fashion show with designs made from repurposed newspaper! Is there no limit to the versatility of yesterday’s news?!

Just when I thought I was obsessed with the firefighter bag... voila, the firefighter hose bag… How hot (no pun intended)are these repurposed fire-hoses? I am totally loving FF couture right now… SS, can you please get busy and represent?!

I had big plans (yes, you know who you are) this weekend, but they fell through and as a result, I am far less tan than I would have been. On the other hand… I got to bask in the glow of another kind of SS and I got to impliment a new layout in my site which I absolutely love. Sawyer Hollenshead is a genius and I can take no credit for his awesome CSS skills. Ok, not only am I obsessed with SS, and Sawyer, and all of the yummy invites I have to NY FW events… I am also drooling over Anne Marie Skjoldager Jensen’s designs. She got her bachelor degree in textile design from The Danish Design School (DKDS) in 2007. After that, she moved to Paris, where she studied at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs. In 2008 Anne Marie interned at Bernhard Wilhelm’s Atelier as well as at John Gallian’s Studio in Paris, where she worked on haute couture jewelry. During her studies in France she also worked for Danish Designer Ann Hagen in her Paris Showroom. Anne Marie graduated in fashion from The Danish Design School (DKDS) and currently lives in Paris. Love! Love! Love!
