Nothing like a little fashion/ Stanley Cup playoff action to end a long day! Go CHI! On the fashion front, I am loving Olesia Makhonko’s designs. Olesia developed her natural talent by attending weekend classes at a local Fashion and Design school… when she was twelve!

Spotted by David Foley of Oxford Media and Business School, Olesia was invited to study in Britain and took an internship at Alexander McQueen, working closely on his Paris SS06 collection. In 2007 the “Olesia Makhonko” brand was born.I love these distinctive designs!

I can’t wait for the adorable Georgia Nash (center picture- I am obsessed with that jacket) to get a website up and running! Her designs stole the show at Alternative Fashion Week.

So much to share but so little time. I guess I’m experiencing a sort of end-of-summer overload…. like… everything from weekends past is sort of culminating this week into something that’s leaning towards disaster, but I believe can still be saved. We’ll see.

Tina Antilla, a great Finnish designer (whose motto is, “life is a nut and nuts- you just have to crack it!”), is super creative and brimming with talent. I love her designs and her presentation!  Check out her personal site and shop her collection on Etsy.

Hola! I won’t bore you with my life this morning… unless of course you have a few hours to devote to my frustrations (that’s what Perez’s are for!).

Instead, I will skip straight to the fashion. Today’s label comes from LA-based fashion designer Freddie Rojas. He spent his entire childhood growing up in the fashion industry absorbing everything he could. His provocative, sexy and detailed designs are the product of years of working and learning everything he could from his family’s business. Freddie Rojas’s design philosophy is fresh and creative. I really love his designs and his use of pockets. For whatever reason I’m a big pocket person and his designs always have fun little hidden pockets in them… anyway, Buy his designs @ 80’s Purple. Also be sure to check out the beautiful Marisa Lauren and her new single (she’s the top model).
